I enjoyed reading this book. I didn't like that brother and sister got thrown out of the house by the stepmother. The house belonged to them. However, the brother's daughter ended up living in the house at the end.

I love how this series questions what is beautiful. It challenges the reader to see the natural beauty in things instead of desiring to change them. I'm excited to see how the characters change and develop even more in the 3rd book.
