Enjoyed the book, how the characters grow, and he keeps adding some other twists allowing main character to just learn a little more about her sister and her family

Murder On Madison Square

This is the latest entry in a stellar historical fiction/mystery series. It can be enjoyed as a stand alone, but I envy the reader who can read the series from the beginning for the first time. The first title is Murder on Astor Place. The series follows the evolving relationship of Sarah, daughter of a wealthy family, making her own way as a midwife, and Frank Malloy, an honest police officer in the notoriously corrupt Gilded Age NY police department.

The book I am reviewing is Marcus Makes a Movie by Kevin Hart. I think this book is amazing! It is about a kid named Marcus who likes to make comic books about a superhero named Toothpick. His dad wants him to go to after school activities. So Marcus decides to join filmmaking class. When he joins the filmmaking class everyone votes to make a different movie called Phone Zombies.

Sylvester the donkey finds a red pebble. He likes to collect pebbles. It was raining and his said he wished it would stop raining. He realized over time it was magical. He ran into a lion and he was so afraid that he wished he could hide and it tuned him into a rock. He couldn't turn back because you have to touch the pebble. His parents were so worried about Sylvester because he was now missing. He was gone for many seasons. His parents picnic right on him! The dad found the pebble and put it on the rock/sylvester. His dad made a wish and poof, Sylvester came back to normal.

Excellent book. If you love Criminal Minds, this is definitely a go to. Some things are very predictable and the suspense definitely builds because there are many levels of conflict and resolution in the story.

Amazing Grace Adams

I’m not a fan of books or movies where you get inside the killer’s head. This book was a lot like that, only you were inside a woman going through a mid-life crisis and not handling it well at all. For this reason, I kept wanting the book to finally be over. But then the ending came, and somehow it made the whole book better. So, I’m not really sure how I feel about the book overall.
