From kindergarten through fifth grade, kids read 500 books of their choice to get comfortable with independent reading. Track your progress, monitor the books you read, and earn brag tags for every 50 books you read, as well as, a book on your reading level to keep.
You'll get a cool LML lanyard, when you sign-up, to hold your library card and all the brag tags you earn througout the program.
Reading just 2 books a week equals 104 books in a year! So be ready for all middle school has to offer by taking up the 500 Books Before Middle School challenge!
Put reading first, with 20 minutes a day spent reading to your children. Make it fun and exciting. Be imaginative.
If you read just 1 book a day, you will have read about 365 books in a year. That is 730 books in two years, and 1,095 books in just three years!
