My favorite part was when Thelma's band didn't go to perform on stage but only Thelma and Vic came.

The book I am reviewing is Marcus Makes a Movie by Kevin Hart. I think this book is amazing! It is about a kid named Marcus who likes to make comic books about a superhero named Toothpick. His dad wants him to go to after school activities. So Marcus decides to join filmmaking class. When he joins the filmmaking class everyone votes to make a different movie called Phone Zombies.

I watched the show before reading the book and I still really enjoyed the book. Felt like you got answers to some of the open ended questions in the show and gave a better overall picture. Also like the short chapters. Made reading quick and easy.

Enjoyed the book, had some twists and kept you guessing if she was crazy or being made out to appear crazy

I thought the ending was a bit rushed, but loved the concept
