This Historical Fiction book about the west was a book I didn't want to put down. It speaks about the realities of living in the west in the early 1900s. It definitely pulls at your heart strings.

I’m not a fan of books or movies where you get inside the killer’s head. This book was a lot like that, only you were inside a woman going through a mid-life crisis and not handling it well at all. For this reason, I kept wanting the book to finally be over. But then the ending came, and somehow it made the whole book better. So, I’m not really sure how I feel about the book overall.

I really enjoyed this book a lot. I would really give it a 4.75 because it was a cute story and I definitely did not see the twist coming. Very much a cutesy read, plus who doesn't love a dog as the star of the show!
