Big Nate is an amazing series and this is just as good.

What a train wreck this woman is! I felt like I wanted to read this book through the cracks of my fingers as I hid my eyes behind my hands (like I do for horror movies). I actually really disliked Natalie, and although I thought the premise for this book was intriguing, it became a literal nightmare. Her poor children were the victims of her influencer life turned 1800’s era. I won’t spoil it for anyone, but I have to say, of all the reasons I came up with as a reason for the time period shifts, THIS was never one of them. Shocked, horrified, and I think I have lost a little faith in humanity after this read. I need something wholesome to read next so I can wipe myself of these negative feelings! I agree with the reviewer who called this read a ‘miserable experience’. Two words that sum it up perfectly.

Ugh this was such an awfully hard read! It was catty, malicious, and just a downright mean girl story.... not to mention the twists were so obvious. Hate to DNF a book and needed to see if I was right and I was. Def do NOT recommend.

I really love this book

I love reading my numbers!

I recently discovered this author and he has quickly become one of my favorites. This story is creepy and disturbing, but what makes it even more interesting is that the central character, Coraline NOT CAROLINE, is a young girl which allows her to behave in more interesting ways than an adult would. And don’t worry. All of your “But what about…” questions are answered in the end.

Holy cow! This book really took you in so many different directions with all the characters that I wasn’t sure where I was going to end up by the end of it. But I NEVER expected that ending!!
